The cat is officially out of the bag…

We’re moving back to Wilmington. Yes thats right, we’re coming home! We’ve known for a while big change was up ahead which would probably involve moving. We couldn’t be more thankful Wilmington is where God has led us. We’ve missed our church and friends and family tremendously. There is a support and appreciation for us here that we are in need of. This past year in Clarksville has been hard but good. Matt has made many connections for his music, we’ve formed great friendships, and most importantly its grown us closer together as a family. God taught us a lot in this past year and we will forever be changed by those lessons.

The plan is for Matt to continue doing his music. He’ll still book shows and is beginning to work on a new CD. He’s going to find some part time work that will bring in a little stability and will also be singing at Port City’s different ministries.

I couldn’t be happier to be coming back to the beach and raising our children here. As soon as our house sells, we’ll be moving. We just lowered the price of our home in hopes of it getting more interest.

My soul has come alive being back here in Wilmington. I feel refreshed and have a new appreciation for this town and our church and friendships. I’ve told people I feel like we’ve been soldiers on the battlefield. We’re tired and worn out. It’s time to come home where we can rest and continue to pursue what God has called us to do.
